Reducing mayhem to a photo-op

Evening on the Hackensack River.

The mayhem caused by two days of heavy rain didn't bother editors and reporters at The Record of Woodland Park, which published a huge L-1 photo today of flooding on Route 46 and a caption. That's it.

Traffic signals were knocked out in Hackensack and Teaneck on Friday, and the Bergen Academies canceled classes. Hackensack schools were open, however. Some city streets were flooded, including Commerce Way, preventing members from reaching Retro Fitness gym. Who knows what else happened?

None of this was in the paper today.

The caption in the paper today ends: "The drying out starts in earnest today."

Is that a reference to the editors?
